Dear +Western Digital : I will never buy another hard drive from you again. It is absurd that, on an hard drive that I bought, an (automatic) update forces me to either accept your new license agreement or stop using the disk. It doesn't even matter what has been updated on the license agreement, this is simply unacceptable.

+Marcos Marado you would probably be much happier with a external USB drive attached to a Raspberry Pi. Perhaps not quite as inexpensive, but no license agreements and a real OS underneath that can do so much more.

+Tom Marshall no doubt. However... Well, I bought it mainly for automated backups, USB cables were being used as an excuse not to backup as often as I should. After the ~2year experience I'm having with this drive, I'm thinking external USB disks are the most painless solution after all.
